Flood Advisory issued August 18 at 12:22AM EDT until August 18 at 2:15AM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest Pennsylvania, including the
following county, Allegheny.
* WHEN...Until 215 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1222 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park,
Monroeville, McKeesport, Plum, West Mifflin, Baldwin, Upper
St. Clair, Scott Township, Wilkinsburg, Whitehall, South Park
Township, Munhall, Jefferson Hills, North Versailles,
Brentwood, Swissvale and Dormont.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
