Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 12 at 3:54PM EDT until August 12 at 4:15PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 354 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Oil City,
moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some power
outages.
Locations impacted include...
Oil City, Sugarcreek, Hasson Heights, Rouseville, Woodland Heights,
Pleasantville, West Hickory, Oil Creek State Park, and East Hickory.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for northwestern
Pennsylvania.
