Description
New Freedom Borough received an update from Met-Ed regarding power restoration. Line and forestry crews have been dispatched to numerous sites and are addressing outages as quickly and safely as possible. At this time, an estimated time of restoration has not been established. Approximately 2,165 New Freedom Borough residents are currently without power.
As always, please report downed lines and road closures by calling 911. Customers should assume all downed or low-hanging power lines are energized and dangerous. Stay at least 30 feet away and use extra caution where downed lines are tangled in trees or other debris.
