Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 7 at 3:56PM EDT until August 7 at 4:15PM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 356 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Carroll Valley,
moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Hanover, Gettysburg, Hampton, Littlestown, Carroll Valley,
McSherrystown, Lake Meade, Bonneauville, New Oxford, East Berlin,
Lake Heritage and Cashtown.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for south central
Pennsylvania.
