Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 4 at 3:26PM EDT until August 4 at 4:00PM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 325 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Montoursville,
moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Williamsport, Milton, Montoursville, Muncy, Watsontown, Montgomery,
Duboistown, New Columbia, Allenwood, Elimsport, Cogan Station and
Exchange.
For those driving on Interstate 80, this includes areas between the
Mile Run and Danville exits, specifically from mile markers 205 to
220.
This includes Interstate 180 from mile markers 1 to 29.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
