Crafton Shade Tree Commission is looking for homeowners who are interested in a shade tree for their front yard. Many tree lawns do not have the space for a mature shade tree, such as an oak or maple. We are now planting trees a few feet back from the front sidewalk. This way the tree can safely grow and provide our streets, homes, and sidewalks with wonderful shade. Crafton has been a member of Tree City USA for 34 years and every year we plant our trees in early November. If you want to add your house to the list, please send an email to craftonclerk@craftonborough.com, call the Borough secretary at ext. 10, or complete the application found at the link below as soon as possible to get your house on the list. Please include your name, a phone number and an address in message. After an evaluation by commission members you will be notified if your home will receive a tree and be planted by our Borough Crew.
