Flash Flood Warning issued July 25 at 1:38PM EDT until July 25 at 5:45PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Northeastern New Castle County in northern Delaware...
Northwestern Gloucester County in southern New Jersey...
South Central Delaware County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 545 PM EDT.

* At 138 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
Wilmington, Chester, Arden, Chester Township, Nether Providence
Township, Brookhaven, Upland, Eddystone, Marcus Hook, Parkside,
Trainer, and Bellefonte.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 6.
Interstate 95 in Delaware between mile markers 18 and 23.

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.
