Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 24 at 1:44PM EDT until July 24 at 2:15PM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 143 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Montoursville,
moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Williamsport, Montoursville, Montgomery, Loyalsockville, South
Williamsport, Williamsport Airport and Little League World Series
Complex.
This includes Interstate 180 from mile markers 19 to 27.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
