Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 20 at 9:54PM EDT until July 20 at 10:15PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 954 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 10 miles west of Indiana to near Hampton Township to
near Shippingport, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some
power outages.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Ross Township, McCandless
Township, Monroeville, Cranberry, Moon Township, Franklin Park,
Aliquippa, Monaca, Vandergrift, Kittanning, Apollo, Shaler Township,
Plum, West Mifflin, North Side Pittsburgh, Baldwin, and Murrysville.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
