Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 20 at 9:30PM EDT until July 20 at 10:15PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 929 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Kittanning to Zelienople to Beaver, moving southeast
at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some
power outages.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Ross Township, McCandless
Township, Monroeville, Cranberry, Moon Township, New Castle, Butler,
Franklin Park, Aliquippa, Beaver Falls, Monaca, Vandergrift, East
Palestine, Kittanning, Apollo, Shaler Township, and Plum.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
