Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 20 at 9:34PM EDT until July 20 at 10:15PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 934 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Ford City to Mars to Ohioville, moving south at
35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some
power outages.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Ross Township, McCandless
Township, Monroeville, Cranberry, Moon Township, Butler, Franklin
Park, Aliquippa, Beaver Falls, Monaca, Vandergrift, Kittanning,
Apollo, Shaler Township, Plum, West Mifflin, and North Side
Pittsburgh.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
