Description
At the June City Council meeting, a trash rate increase was approved in the amount of 2.86% across currently established fees for residents of the City of Bruceville-Eddy. The rates are to take effect with the next billing cycle (mailings sent in September). For the majority of our customers, this will result in a $0.50 per residential cart increase (for a single residential cart) excluding taxes and fuel.
This increase was necessary due to rising industry costs for the disposal of solid waste and was based off a pre-approved agreement with our vendor.
