Special Marine Warning issued July 15 at 6:06PM EDT until July 15 at 6:30PM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH
For the following areas...
Nearshore and Open waters from Geneva-on-the-lake OH to Ripley NY...
At 605 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 20 nm northeast of Ashtabula to 13 nm east of
Conneaut, moving east at 30 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.
Locations impacted include...
Erie and Conneaut.
