Special Marine Warning issued July 15 at 5:30PM EDT until July 15 at 6:30PM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH
For the following areas...
Nearshore and Open waters from Geneva-on-the-lake OH to Ripley NY...
At 530 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Ashtabula to 13 nm south of Conneaut, moving
northeast at 30 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.
Locations impacted include...
Erie, Conneaut, Ashtabula and Geneva-On-The-Lake.
