Description
As you are aware, LIHWAP will officially reopen on Monday, July 10 and will run until August 11 or until all funds are expended. The program will run with the same eligibility criteria as when the program was available in 2022, although please note that the income limits have adjusted to align with the LIHEAP limits. The public LIHWAP webpage has been updated accordingly. There you will find language to promote the program under Media Kit.

The Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) is available to help families who have overdue water bills or at risk of losing water service for their home.
Applications will be accepted July 10, 2023 through August 11, 2023.

Applying for LIHWAP via the online application system is the quickest way to submit an application. LIHWAP will be available on the DHS COMPASS website indicated above on Monday. Thank you!
