Special Weather Statement issued July 10 at 1:12PM EDT by NWS Tampa Bay Ruskin FL

At 111 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14
miles northwest of Crystal River Airport, or 18 miles northwest of
Homosassa Springs, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Inverness, Williston, Homosassa Springs, Beverly Hills, Williston
Highlands, Crystal River Airport, Black Diamond, Homosassa, Inverness
Highlands North, Williston Municipal Airport, Hernando, Inglis, Arbor
Lakes, Lecanto, Citronelle, Leisure Acres, Pine Ridge, Citrus Hills,
Gospel Island, and Brent Wood.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
