Special Weather Statement issued July 7 at 4:34PM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 434 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles southeast of Carlisle to Gettysburg to
near Thurmont. Movement was east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Hanover, Weigelstown, Gettysburg, Parkville, Hampton, Shiloh, West
York, Littlestown, Carroll Valley, Codorus, McSherrystown, Lake
Meade, Spring Grove, Dover, Pennville, Bonneauville, New Oxford, East
Berlin, Lake Heritage and Cashtown.
