Description
The impacts from June 10ths storm are still being felt by our community as city crews and residents both continue the work of debris removal and building repairs.

While it is yet to be determined if we have met mandatory damage thresholds needed to qualify for financial assitance for our community, all residents (including those outside of our City limits) are encouraged to report their damage directly to the Texas Division of Emergency Management using their iSTAT survey at the following link: https://damage.tdem.texas.gov/

The objective of this survey, which is available in both English and Spanish, is to identify damages and support emergency management officials across the state to gain an understanding of damages that have occurred during the recent severe weather event. There is not a time limit on this survey and reporting damages to Emergency Management is a voluntary activity, not a substitute for reporting damage to an insurance agency and does not guarantee disaster relief assistance.

Use the ‘General submission’ form as there is not an incident number assigned to us as of today’s date. Video tutorials are avalible should you need assitance submitting the survey.

Citizens of Bruceville-Eddy may continue to bring their extra brush and limbs to 410 Hudson Road until July 8th, 2023. A location has been established outside of the fenced area for drop off. Please be advised that limbs greater than 6 inches in diameter can not be accepted as they are too large for our chipper.

Alternatively, Waste Connections offers curbside bulk pickup for properly bundled brush and debris. Please call us at 254-859-5700 to schedule a bulk pickup or for any questions!

The City will continue to waive permitting fees associated with storm damage.
