Air Quality Alert issued June 28 at 4:30PM EDT by NWS State College PA
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has
issued a Code RED Air Quality Alert on Thursday for the
Susquehanna Valley.
A Code RED Air Quality Alert means that air pollution
concentrations within the region are unhealthful for the general
population. The effects of air pollution can be minimized by
avoiding strenuous activity or exercise outdoors.
