Flash Flood Warning issued June 27 at 12:19AM EDT until June 27 at 3:45AM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ

At 1219 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1
and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is
0.5 to 1 inch in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1
inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
Philadelphia, Trenton, Camden, West Chester, Bensalem, Ewing,
Norristown, Chester, Phoenixville, Lansdale, West Norriton, and
East Norriton.

This includes the following highways...
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 314 and 359.
Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 40.
Interstate 76 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 327 and 351.
Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 59 and 76.
Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 3.
Interstate 676 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 1.
Interstate 476 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 19.
Northeast Extension between mile markers 21 and 28.

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when
it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
