Special Weather Statement issued June 24 at 3:45PM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 344 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Middletown to Weigelstown. Movement was east at
20 mph.
HAZARD...Winds up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation
possible.
Locations impacted include...
York, Lower Allen, Hershey, Weigelstown, Elizabethtown, Middletown,
Mount Joy, New Cumberland, Steelton, Spry, Hummelstown, Dallastown,
Shiloh, East York, Stonybrook-Wilshire, West York, Maytown, Grantley,
Campbelltown and Valley Green.
