Special Marine Warning issued June 17 at 10:20PM EDT until June 17 at 11:00PM EDT by NWS Tampa Bay Ruskin FL

The National Weather Service in Ruskin has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
Coastal waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20
NM...
Waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 1100 PM EDT.

* At 1019 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 20 nm southwest of Cedar Key to 20 nm west of
Bayport to near Port Richey, moving east at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher
waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Make sure
all on board are wearing life jackets.

* Locations impacted include...
Ozello, Crystal River, Hernando Beach, Port Richey, Bayport,
Yankeetown, and Aripeka.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
