Description
A message from your Fire Chief,
On June 2, 2023, the York County Commissioners passed Resolution 2023-12 which established a 30 day burn ban effective today June 5, 2023. This burn ban prohibits ALL open burning. The burn ban was implemented due to a long period of dry conditions which aids a dangerous wildfire threat. As outlined in the Commissioner’s Resolution, the penalty for violating this burn ban could result in fines up to $300.00.
