Description
Manchester Township is accepting applications/resumes for a full time Code Enforcement Officer. The Code Enforcement Officer supports township operations by assisting the Zoning/Planning Officer with the administrative and technical work to ensure compliance with all ordinances, codes and regulations in planning, zoning, and permit issuance, and inspection of construction projects to include but not limited to subdivision/land development, building improvements, plumbing, sewage systems, flood plain and storm water management.
Qualified applicants will possess basic computer skills and analytic and problem-solving abilities. This person must also have the skills to communicate effectively with staff, construction and engineering professionals, officials, and the public. A valid Pennsylvania motor vehicle operator’s license is also required. The position works primarily at the Township office as well as traveling throughout the Township as needed.
