Police Notification:
The Thornburg bridge will close at 9:00 PM on Friday June 2nd and remain closed until Monday June 5th at 6:00AM. The same detour will be in place for this closure as was used during the closure earlier this month. This closure will include work through the signalized intersection next to the bridge which will be milled and repaved during this closure and although the intersection will be open to traffic anyone going through this intersection should expect heavy delays. We feel that if work can be completed without any delay, weather issues or mechanical issues that we may be able to open the bridge to traffic sometime on Sunday June 4th.
