Happy Thursday Everyone!
Yankeetown wanted to let you all know of the Memorial Day events happening this weekend to honor all of our fallen hero's that paid the ultimate price for freedoms in this great country.
Kicking everything off tomorrow morning at 10am Amvets will be meeting at Amvets prior to heading to local Cemetaries to place flags on soldiers' headstones.
Monday Yankeetown will be holding a flag exchange ceremony at Yankeetown Town Hall at 9am. Levy County Sheriffs Old Guard will be retiring the U.S. Flag and FWC law enforcement will be retiring the State of Florida Flag.
