Flood Advisory issued May 15 at 2:13PM CDT until May 15 at 6:00PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
expected.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Atascosa, DeWitt and Karnes.
* WHEN...Until 600 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 213 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Up to 2
inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Kenedy, Karnes City, Yorktown, Campbellton, Runge, Nordheim,
Helena, Choate, Cotton Patch, El Oso, Zunkerville, Coy City,
Fashing, Peggy and Meyersville.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
