Flash Flood Warning issued May 13 at 12:26PM CDT until May 13 at 2:00PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX

At 1226 PM CDT, Local law enforcement and TXDOT officials are
reporting numerous flooded roadways across the region. Between 2 and
6 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1
inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already
occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Cuero, Gonzales, Yoakum, Kenedy, Karnes City, Hallettsville,
Yorktown, Shiner, Moulton, Runge, Smiley, Nordheim, Hochheim,
Cheapside, Westhoff, Thomaston, Ezzell, Gillett, Sublime and
Speaks.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
