Flash Flood Warning issued May 13 at 7:09AM CDT until May 13 at 11:00AM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
At 709 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2
and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1
to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Cuero, Gonzales, Floresville, Yoakum, Luling, Kenedy, Karnes City,
Poth, Yorktown, Shiner, Stockdale, Flatonia, Moulton, Kosciusko,
Nixon, Elmendorf, La Vernia, Waelder, Runge and Falls City.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
