Special Weather Statement issued May 7 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
At 700 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Nell, or 12 miles southwest of Karnes City, moving northeast at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Kenedy, Karnes City, Falls City, Cestohowa, Hobson, Coy City,
Paweleville, Pana Maria and El Oso.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
