Special Marine Warning issued April 27 at 7:15PM EDT until April 27 at 8:45PM EDT by NWS Tampa Bay Ruskin FL

The National Weather Service in Ruskin has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
Coastal waters from Englewood to Tarpon Springs FL out 20 NM...
Coastal waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20
NM...
Waters from Englewood to Tarpon Springs FL out 20 to 60 NM...
Waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 845 PM EDT.

* At 712 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 17 nm northwest of Suwannee River to 69 nm south of
S Tower, moving east at 45 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher
waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Make sure
all on board are wearing life jackets.

* Locations impacted include...
Ozello, Crystal River, Hernando Beach, Port Richey, Anclote Key,
Bayport, Yankeetown, Cedar Key, Aripeka, and Tarpon Springs.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
