Special Weather Statement issued April 22 at 1:42PM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 142 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Williamsport, moving north at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation
possible.
This strong thunderstorm will be near...
Williamsport and Duboistown around 150 PM EDT.
Cogan Station around 155 PM EDT.
Trout Run around 200 PM EDT.
Ralston and Buttonwood around 210 PM EDT.
Other locations impacted by this storm include South Williamsport,
Garden View, Oval, Little League World Series Complex and
Salladasburg.
