Flash Flood Warning issued April 20 at 5:16PM CDT until April 20 at 8:15PM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Northern Bell County in central Texas...
Southeastern Coryell County in central Texas...
Western Falls County in central Texas...
Southwestern McLennan County in central Texas...

* Until 815 PM CDT.

* At 516 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are
possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Killeen, Waco, Temple, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, Belton,
Hewitt, Robinson, Bellmead, Woodway, Lacy-Lakeview, McGregor, Fort
Hood, Nolanville, Morgan's Point Resort, Beverly Hills, Lorena,
Troy, Bruceville-Eddy and Moody.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
