Freeze Watch issued April 8 at 11:50AM EDT until April 10 at 9:00AM EDT by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...For the Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures as low
as 30 expected. For the Freeze Watch, freezing temperatures near
32 degrees possible.
* WHERE...Franklin, Dauphin, Lebanon, Cumberland, Adams, York
and Lancaster Counties.
* WHEN...For the Freeze Warning, from 2 AM to 10 AM EDT Sunday.
For the Freeze Watch, from late Sunday night through Monday
morning.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions will kill sensitive
vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rural, valley locations and sheltered areas
will experience the coldest temperatures.
Take protective measures now as freezing temperatures could
damage or kill tender plants and vegetation. Potted plants should
be brought inside.
