Freeze Warning issued April 8 at 3:07AM EDT until April 9 at 10:00AM EDT by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 expected.
* WHERE...Franklin, Dauphin, Lebanon, Cumberland, Adams, York
and Lancaster Counties.
* WHEN...From 2 AM to 10 AM EDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rural valley locations will experience the
coldest temperatures, while lows in the larger urban areas may
be in the 33 to 35 degree range.
Take protective measures now as freezing temperatures could
damage or kill tender plants and vegetation. Potted plants should
be brought inside.
