Special Weather Statement issued April 5 at 11:17PM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 1115 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Bellefonte to near State College to near
Huntingdon. Movement was northeast at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of up to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Williamsport, Lock Haven, Lewistown, Bellefonte, Jersey Shore,
Carroll, Woodward, Pleasant Gap, Lamar, Zion, Belleville, Mill Hall,
Milroy, Avis, and Centre Hall.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
