High Wind Warning issued April 1 at 11:47AM EDT until April 2 at 2:00AM EDT by NWS State College PA

* WHAT...West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 65 mph
expected.

* WHERE...Cambria and Somerset Counties.

* WHEN...From 8 AM this morning to 2 AM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A line of strong to severe thunderstorms
crossing the region this Saturday afternoon will increase the
probability for locally enhanced wind damage.

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.
