Special Weather Statement issued March 29 at 8:36PM EDT by NWS State College PA
HAZARDS...A snow squall accompanied by winds of up to 45 MPH which
can rapidly reduce visibility to less than a quarter of a mile.
Lightning is also possible. Initial rain will change to heavy snow
as the squall passes. Roadways are expected to remain wet, but
spotty brief slushy conditions are possible on side roads.
LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 833 PM EDT, a snow squall was along a line
extending from near Canton to 13 miles southeast of Hollidaysburg and
moving southeast at 50 MPH.
THIS SQUALL WILL BE NEAR...
Shunk around 840 PM EDT.
Lincoln Falls around 845 PM EDT.
For those driving on Interstate 80, this includes areas between the
Lamar and Buckhorn exits, specifically from mile markers 175 to 231.
This includes Interstate 180 from mile markers 1 to 29.

Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this squall.
Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads can lead to
accidents.
