Description
CWA customers are advised that the recent advisory put out by the Philadelphia Water Department to utilize bottled water as a result of a chemical spill into a tributary of the Delaware River DOES NOT impact CWA customers. The source of CWA’s raw water supply is from the Octoraro Reservoir located in Chester/Lancaster County and the Susquehanna River in Lancaster County, not the Delaware River, so this chemical spill has no impact on CWA. CWA customers should feel confident that their drinking water continues to be of high quality and meets or exceeds all federal and state regulations.
