The Paradise Township Board of Supervisors has scheduled a SPECIAL MEETING for Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the Special Meeting is a continuation of a Public Hearing held on March 9, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. for consideration of the application of JSPA Realty, LLC for a Conditional Use Approval for a Master Development Plan in the Resort Development Overlay District in accordance with Section 160-11(43.B) of the Township’s Zoning Ordinance and any other business that comes before the Board. The Public Hearing will be held to a three-hour time limit. All meetings are open to the public. The in-person meeting will be held at the Pocono Mountain East High School Auditorium, located at 231 Pocono Mountain School Road, Swiftwater, PA, Monroe County, Pennsylvania 18370. In such case that the Pocono Mountain School District should close the school campus or dismisses school early due to inclement weather, the hearing will be canceled and the new date, time, and location will be scheduled and advertised. PUBLIC NOTICE


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of Paradise Township has scheduled the continuation of a Public Hearing on the application of JSPA Realty, LLC for Conditional Use approval for a Master Development Plan in the Resort Development Overlay District in accordance with Section 160-11(43.B) of the Township’s Zoning Ordinance, to be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., at the Pocono Mountain East High School Auditorium (PMEHSA), 231 Pocono Mountain School Road, Swiftwater, Pa. 18370. This hearing is a continuation of a public hearing opened on January 30, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. The continuation of the public hearing to February 23, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., and subsequent hearings to be held on March 9, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., and March 16, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. all to be held at the PMEHSA was announced at the adjournment of the January 30, 2023 hearing and notices have been posted at the Paradise Township Municipal Building, 5912 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco, Pa. 18326 and the Township Website www.paradisetownship.com. In the event that the Pocono Mountain School District should close the Pocono Mountain East High School campus or dismisses school early due to inclement weather or for another reason, the hearing will be continued to March 9, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. If on March 9, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., the Pocono Mountain East High School campus is closed due to inclement weather or other reason, then the hearing will be continued to March 16, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. A three (3) hour time limit shall apply to all hearings. Please check the Pocono Mountain School District website at PMSD.org for school closing updates and/or check the Paradise Township website. In its conditional use application, JSPA, Realty, LLC is proposing a Resort Facility that will include a lodge, separate villas, pools, and related amenities along with a Commercial Shopping Center to include a mix of uses (e.g., retail, office, and restaurant). The Master Development is proposed on property owned by the applicant in an R2 Zoning District within a Resort Overlay District, on seven (7) parcels of land situate off of SR 611, four (4) located in Paradise Township, bearing PIN 11636500219565, 11636500221351, 11636500403397, 11636500100937, 12636500001679 (Pocono Township), 12636500108111 (Pocono Township), and 10636517016178 (Mount Pocono Borough).
