Special Weather Statement issued March 14 at 8:26AM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
Snow showers tracking across portions of northern West Virginia
and portions of southwest Pennsylvania south of Pittsburgh may
create brief periods of moderate snow through 10 AM. Visibilities
may drop to around one-half mile in the heavier snow showers, and
could cause a quick coating on untreated roads.
If you are driving this morning, be prepared for low visibility
and slippery roads. Slow down, allow for extra travel time, and
increase the distance between your car and those that surround
you.
