Special Weather Statement issued March 13 at 4:28PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 426 PM EDT, snow showers were located along a line extending from
near East Palestine to near Imperial to Cecil-Bishop to near
Bentleyville to near Masontown. Movement was east at 25 mph.

These snow showers will be near...
Cecil-Bishop and Sturgeon-Noblestown around 430 PM EDT.
Fredericktown-Millsboro and Fairdale around 435 PM EDT.
Moon Township, McMurray, Ambridge, Masontown, Bentleyville and
Leetsdale around 440 PM EDT.
New Brighton, Coraopolis, Bridgeville, Sewickley and Harmony
Township around 445 PM EDT.
Mount Lebanon, Upper St. Clair, Scott Township, Robinson Township,
Carnegie, California, Crafton, Monongahela, Ingram and Emsworth
around 450 PM EDT.
Bethel Park, Gastonville, South Park Township, Jefferson Hills,
Dormont, Castle Shannon, Kennedy Township, Stowe Township, Avalon
and Green Tree around 455 PM EDT.
Ross Township, Franklin Park, Uniontown, North Side Pittsburgh,
Whitehall, Brentwood, Bellevue, Pleasant Hills, Ellwood City and
Monessen around 500 PM EDT.
Pittsburgh and Baldwin around 505 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these snow showers include Moraine State
Park, Clarksville, Rankin, Patterson Township, Freedom, New Eagle,
Smithfield, Finleyville, Enlow and South Fayette Township.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 70 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 18 and 57.
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 7 and 61, and between
mile markers 63 and 74.
Interstate 79 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 32 and 37, and
between mile markers 40 and 100.
Parkway North between mile markers 1 and 13.
Interstate 376 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 23 and 84.

Snow will lead to reduced visibilities and worsening travel
conditions.

Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this intense
snow shower. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads
are likely to lead to accidents.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow covered roads. Slow down and allow extra time when
traveling.
