Description
Bluebonnet Water Supply will be conducting a Free Chlorine Conversion of the transmission system BEGINNING April 1st, 2023 and ENDING April 30, 2023.
This procedure entails shifting from Chloramines to Free Chlorine as their primary disinfectant for the period of one month as a routine maintenance measure. Water systems that will be affected are Moffat, Pendleton, Elm Creek and Spring Valley WSCs and the cities of Moody, Bruceville-Eddy and McGregor.
You may notice a difference in the odor and taste of the water during this time but please be assured that it is safe to drink and use. We will, as usual, be taking samples to make sure all levels are where they should be at.
