Special Weather Statement issued March 6 at 5:32AM CST by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
Areas of fog have developed across portions of the Coastal Plains,
I-35 Corridor, Hill Country, and southern Edwards Plateau.
Although most areas have visibilities of 1 mile or greater,
patches of dense fog with visibilities near or below one quarter
mile have been observed, for example in Gonzales. Visibility
should gradually improve later this morning and will end before
10am.
Use caution if traveling as visibility may change rapidly
over short distances. Use low beam headlights and leave extra
distance between your vehicle and others on the road.
