Special Weather Statement issued March 3 at 4:01AM CST by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
Surface observations show a thin band of strong winds with gusts to
50 mph moving from west to east. Observations show these winds
lasting about an hour or so. Expect this band to slowly weaken as
it moves to the southeast away from the I-35 corridor.
Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Power outages
are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile
vehicles.
