Special Weather Statement issued March 3 at 1:48AM CST by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
Surface observations show a thin band of strong winds with gusts to
60 mph moving from east to west generally along and south of the US
90 corridor. Observations show these winds lasting less than an
hour. Expect this band to slowly weaken as it moves to the southeast
over those southern areas.
Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Power outages
are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile
vehicles.
