Special Weather Statement issued February 25 at 9:31AM EST by NWS State College PA

HAZARDS...A band of steady snow which can reduce visibility to less
than one mile.

LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 927 AM EST, a band of steady snow
continues along and north of a line extending from near Brookville
to Renovo to Williamsport to near Hazleton.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
Williamsport, St. Marys, Berwick, Montoursville, Ridgway, Kane,
Wellsboro, Johnsonburg, Cameron, Wharton, Morris, Coudersport, Muncy,
Port Allegany, Hughesville, Sheffield, Emporium, Smethport, Wetmore
and Montgomery.

For those driving on Interstate 80, this includes areas between the
Bloomsburg-Light Street and Nescopek exits, specifically between mile
markers 240 and 241, and from mile markers 246 to 247.

This includes Interstate 180 from mile markers 8 to 29.

SAFETY INFO...
Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this band of
snow. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads may
lead to accidents.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time to reach your destination.
