Description
On Monday February 13, 2023 Churchill Borough Council accepted the resignation of Adam P. McDowell from Churchill Borough Council.
According to Section 901 of the Pennsylvania Borough Code, the Council shall fill the vacancy within 30 days (after accepting the resignation of a Council member) by appointing, by resolution, a registered elector of the Borough to hold the office until the first Monday in January after the first municipal election (January 1, 2024).
Borough Council is now accepting letters of interest and resumes of interested Churchill Borough registered electors who desire consideration for the Council position. Email letters of interest and resumes to alex@churchillborough.com by Thursday March 2, 2023.
Borough Council may choose to interview candidates and will make their selection at the Monday, March 13, 2023, Regular Meeting of the Council.
