The 30th Annual Millpond Ice Harvest will be taking place on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 9am-2pm at 2071 Lakeside Drive, Tobyhanna, PA. The recent warm weather conditions have not been good for the ice crop and ice will not be able to be cut at the 30th Annual Ice Harvest, but they welcome all visitors to come and hear about the ice harvest industry and see the extensive collection of ice harvesting tools and equipment. It’s a great opportunity for the family to enjoy the outdoors while learning about the local ice harvest history, and it’s free! On your way to the Ice Harvest, stop by VFW Post 509 located at 1917 Goodwin Street, Tobyhanna as they will be hosting their monthly breakfast prior to the start of the Ice Harvest from 7am-11am on Saturday, January 28, 2023.
