Winter Weather Advisory issued January 17 at 9:10AM EST until January 17 at 10:00AM EST by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations of a
light glaze.
* WHERE...Tioga, Northern Lycoming and Sullivan Counties.
* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are
possible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures have risen very close to
freezing and the rain is moving to the east quickly. Expect any
problems to end quickly as temperatures continue to rise to
above freezing.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
Turnpike Commission remind motorists to expect slippery
conditions as freezing rain impacts the area.
